AIA#76 Is journaling helpful | Day 1

Do you guys keep a journal? If so how much do you write? Daily? Weekly? Let me know!

I’m starting to keep a daily journal.  While I’ve done journaling before, I’ve never kept a serious habit of it until now.

I started to think about keeping a journal after hand writing some quick ideas for blog posts on paper.

Normally, I go straight to the computer when writing.  However, I noticed ideas came a little easier when I jotted things down quickly.

I decided to keep five sections, Daily – what I do on that day, General ideas, thoughts and study, Ideas for blog writing, Stream of conscious writing and future goals (Set Measurable goals with a date.).


Here’s a quick entry from today.

I was thinking about how business people come up with ideas for problem solving.  Brian Tracy uses meditation.  (Brian Tracy was a famous salesman and he has some great books and audio programs.)

I made a note to check out John Joseph’s book Meat is For Pussy’s.  He is the lead singer of the punk band The Crow Mags, train-athalete and eats a vegan plant based diet.  He also has some awesome youtube cooking videos.

I made another note to do some research on DMM Bitcoin.  I don’t know if it’s real or not but I saw and ad for it.  DMM is a mega internet company in Japan.

And last but not least, I’m interested in doing a yoga retreat in Thailand.  I love Thailand, it’s a great place to visit.  Next time I’d like to do a yoga retreat for a week since I’ve been getting into yoga recently.
